Trekking is so rewarding because of the views one gets to see from the highest points in the treks. The better the view the more rewarding and fulfilling the treks are. The Brahmatal trek is known to have offered the best of Himalayan views as soon as you come out of the rhododendrons forest to see a white wall of Mount Trishul. When you proceed to Mount Jhandi you’ll be standing at the center of the mountain views and hence will be able to witness some of the most spectacular panoramas of Mt Trishul on the right to Mt Nanda Ghunti on the left along with Ronti Saddle which is the ridge that connects Mt Trishul to Mt Nanda Ghunti and all the other Himalayan pinnacles in between but not yet in the view. Although as soon as you climb to the top of highest point in the Brahmatal Lake trek a whole new set of mountains which were not visible earlier open up.

These mountains include Mt Chaukhamba, Mt Neelkanth, Mt Hathi Ghoda with Mt Trishul and Mt Nanda Ghunti always present in the view. Therefore this trek deserves more popularity among aspiring trekkers. As far as the difficulty level of the trek is concerned the trek falls under the easy to moderate level of difficulty which means even children aged 10 can opt for this trek under the presence of their parents or guardians. The trek stretches its trail for about 30 km which are to be covered within 6 days. It starts at Lohajung, which is also the base cam of the trek, in the state of Uttarakhand.  The Brahmatal Trek is often considered by the trekkers to be a classic winter trek. Even though the terrain is rough the landscape makes up for the discomfort.
